Maximo Marcuso is one of the most talented vocalists of our time. Once heard, he is never forgotten. His powerhouse vocals, whether he is singing Operatic Arias, Broadway show tunes, Latin Jazz, or Contemporary Music, are addicting and intoxicating. Maximo is a native of Guatemala. He grew up in a family of musicians and was initially trained by his mother, a renowned soprano. He made his first public appearance at the age of 8, singing Ave Maria at the national Palace in Guatemala City. His musical education progressed at the National Cultural Center in Guatemala and later at the prestigious Maria Callas School of Opera. By the time he was 18, he was touring throughout Central America, Mexico and the United States. He then settled in the US, where he attended the Julliard School of Music and eventually moved to Miami where he performed with Gloria Estefan and Gypsy Kings. Later he had a residence at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. Since then, he has sung all over the world with many symphony orchestras in Europe as well as the US and last year he performed for David Foster at the McCallum Theatre.
